This new design of our signature starfish necklace gives you a choice of modern or antiqued starfish pendants. One of the beautiful features of this necklace is the lavender pink, peach and white pearls set off by the abalone's natural colors of aqua/blue/green/pink/purple. The photos show you both sides of the larger abalone beads. The glow and iridescence of the abalone shell beads are breathtaking the abalone colors are the same as when they were found in the ocean, natural and untouched.

I was originally inspired to create this starfish piece by the purple-hued, live starfish that i observed on the rocks along the oregon coastline. Since that time, i have recreated this necklace with a slight change in pearl colors. Previously, we added contrasting blue grey pearls. Now, we use contrasting purple toned pearls to accent the natural lavender pink, peach and white freshwater pearls.

The necklace in the last photo is from the original design; it has accent pearls in blue grey. We'll do so in an etsy conversation.

You will receive a similar necklace to the one shown in the first four photos in this listing, made with the same materials. The colors of the accent pearls will be purple-toned, not blue-grey as in the last photo shown here. If you prefer blue grey pearls, please let us know and we will add them to your custom necklace.
