The clasp is the focal point for sure. It is a bouquet of pale blue flowers. I think they are crocus but i could very well be wrong. Each one has a faux pearl in the center.
Even if it was not signed it would be so easy to tell this was made by sandor, all the signs are there. The attention to detain, the beautiful enameling on the flowers, how the enamel has been wiped away on the edge of each flower petal, the pearls in the centers of the flowers. The bouquet part of the clasp is 1 3/4 across, add to that the other half of the clasp with it's single row of matching leaves. The length of the necklace is 15 1/4" long and the three rows of faux pearls total about 1 1/4" wide. The overall condition is very very good, near mint.
This necklace always reminds me of the one that princess diana liked to wear, i guess because of the rows of pearls and the large blue clasp. Though to be honest, i like this one better. It couldn't be much better for a bride, it is something old (vintage), and something blue. Now to just find that something new and something borrowed. This item is made of metal and enamel, faux pearls, glass, clasp.
