The five strands of lustrous glass pearls used on this necklace are graduated in size and have unbelievable luster. The strands come together with a gorgeous, so art deco, ornate rhodium plated clasp that is pave set with brilliantly clear sparkly crystal rhinestones. I can't tell you how much i love this necklace these art deco multi strand necklaces with ornate clasps are tough to find but to find one with such a stunning clasp in this phenomenal condition is extremely rare.
It will be the perfect "something old" for the bride. The longest strand of the necklace measures about 18 3/4 inches (47.6 cm) when clasped while the shortest measures about 14 3/4 inches (37.5 cm).
The necklace is new old stock and is in near pristine vintage condition with the finish of those yummy pearls fantastic and all rhinestones present and sparkly and the tiny connectors are still quite shiny. The necklace hangs like a dream. The pinch box clasp functions perfectly. The treasure has mellowed just a tad creating that softer authentic look and feel that can only be achieved with age and not replicated by the new vintage "inspired" pieces.
