I made this hydrangea flower cluster necklace with a mixture of my "teeny" and "tiny" hydrangea blooms. I selected flowers at random and assembled them in a random pattern. Made of sterling silver with a satin finish, these flowers look very much like natural white hydrangeas. The main flower cluster is attached to a sterling silver 1.7mm cable chain. Just off center is another 3 petal hydrangea bloom, this little blossom is detailed both front and back, so it can never be upside down.
All pieces are permanently attached to the chain, making this a necklace rather than a pendant. Designed with a gentle curve to follow the natural neckline, the necklace comes on a 15" chain with a 2" adjustable extender, making it adjustable to 17.
The central cluster is 1 1/4 across, and approx. All the edges of the flowers and the raised veins on the petals have been lightly burnished to highlite the fine details and give it a silvery sparkle.
