A beautiful, handcrafted sterling silver coin pendant with silver coin, inspired by the ancient greek gold stater minted around 278 bc in syracuse, sicily by pyrrhus i, king of epeiros. Front side: goddess athena facing right and wearing a corinthian helmet and beaded necklace.
Back side: nike, the winged goddess of victory moving towards the left, holding wreath and trophy. Inscription reads: pyrrhou vasileos in greek fonts, meaning king's pyrrhus. Never, ever run an opal or any other gemstone, through a steamer or ultrasonic cleanerplease ask for advice if you want to clean your jewelry. From my experience, as a jeweler for over 30 years now, i suggest to take off all jewelry while having a bath or a swim. We wear our jewelry last. We are not responsible for any damage of gemstone, if you do not follow carefully our instructions for gemstone caring.
