ANTiQue 1930s Topaz Crystal Ivory Pearl Art Deco Filigree Pendant Necklace, Bridal Flapper,Silver Edwardian 1920s Vintage Wedding November

I can't tell you how much i love this treasure offering an absolutely stunning antique art deco honey topaz faceted glass crystal and glass ivory seed pearl rhodium plated filigree pendant necklace. This treasure will look as beautiful with a pair of jeans and a tee as it will with a bridal gown. This 1920s to 1930s era pendant is so beautiful and is even prettier than photos imply. The shiny silver open back rhodium plated pendant features a central bezel set deep honey topaz colored oval cut glass crystal. Surrounding the crystal is a row of lustrous glass ivory seed pearls that add so much interest and beauty the detail in the filigree work is extraordinary. Pendant hangs from an ornate embossed bale. I just adore this rich topaz color and the contrast of it with the lustrous seed pearls and the shimmery filigree work. When i found this treasure it was missing its chain so i've hung it from the perfect platinum toned so 1920s long link chain. I've added an additional ring to the chain for versatility and finished the end off with a dangle fashioned from salvage glass pearl and topaz colored glass bead separated by an antique rhinestone rhondelle bead so that the necklace will stun from the back as well as the front. The pendant, including it's bale, measures 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm) long and just over 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide. Necklace can be worn at about 18 or 21 inches (45 or 52.5 cm) around with an additional drop for the pendant. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or scratches other than a few teeny tiny flea bits found only under magnification and no pealing to those yummy pearls. The jewel has mellowed just a teeny tad creating that softer authentic antique look and feel that can only be created with age and not replicated by the new vintage "inspired" pieces.

Truly an exquisite necklace they don't make jewelry any more like they used to. Why settle for vintage "look" when you can have the quality of a true period piece. Topaz is the birthstone for november.
