Offering an exquisite circa 1920s - 1930s art nouveau/art deco silver & rhinestone camphor glass pendant necklace. This one has such a gorgeous design the camphor pendant itself measures 1 1/8 inch (2.9 cm) not including the bail by 3/4 inches (1.8 cm). The pendant features thick frosted glass (camphor glass) with radial designs cut in the glass on the reverse side. The glass is enclosed in a lacy filigree silver rhodium plated setting that has such a beautiful aymetrical art nouveau design. The center is adorned with a sparkly pave set crystal rhinestone. The ornate rhinestone adorned bail adds even more charm. Pendant hangs from vintage "old stock" silver plated dainty so art deco paperclip chain that closes with a new silver plated lobster clasp.
I've added an extender chain for versatility and finished off the necklace with a crystal and rhinestone dangle made from crystals from an antique orphaned earring so it will look gorgeous from the back as well as the front. Necklace can be worn from about 16 1/2 inches (42 cm) to about 19 inches (48 cm) with an additional drop of 1 9/16 inches. This jewel is in excellent vintage condition with no scratches, chips, or cracks to the glass or breaks in that intricate filigree work and the crystal full of sparkle.
