1930s ANTiQUe Aqua Blue Cut Crystal Necklace, Art Deco Bridal Jewelry, Silver Paste Rhinestone Pendant 20s Vintage 1920s Wedding Flapper
Offering an exquisite circa 1920s - 1930s art deco/edwardian aqua blue cut crystal and paste rhinestone pendant necklace. The perfect "something old" and "something blue" for the bride.
The phenomenal silver pot metal pendant features two open back claw set square cut glass crystal in the most gorgeous shade of rich aqua blue. The rest of the ornate setting is lavishly encrusted with sparkly pave set clear crystal rhinestones.
The pendant is hinged in the middle which creates a bit of movement and even more interest and sparkle. When i found this treasure, it was without its original chain, so i've hung it from the perfect quintessential art deco long link platinum toned chain. I've added a silver plated extender chain for versatility and finished it off with a dangle fashioned from salvaged aqua and clear vintage crystal beads so that the necklace will look stunning from the back as well as the front. Photos in no way do this one justice the pendant measures 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) long by 1/2 inches (13 mm) wide. Necklace can be worn from about 17 to 20 inches (42.5 to 50 cm) around with an additional drop for the pendant.This jewel is in excellent antique condition with no chips or scratches to the glass other than a teeny tiny flea bite on the back of one of the stones which can't be seen from the front and all rhinestones present and still sparkly. Though still full of sparkle, the jewel has mellowed tad creating that softer authentic antique look and feel that can only be achieved with age and not replicated by the new vintage "inspired pieces".
