Antique 1910s German Edwardian Clear Glass Briolette Bead, Marcasite, and Sterling Silver Choker Bow Négligé 16 Necklace

This adorable antique necklace from the late edwardian era features two colorless glass briolette beads suspended from a tiny sterling silver bow and single marcasite in the center. The piece is very feminine and dainty, which is common for the era. The briolette is fashioned to refract light from all angles, which creates a rainbow prism effect.

The négligé necklace sits high on the neck as the glass beads cascade down to your chest. Great necklace for all ages and occasions. The necklace is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The glass beads' surface shows fine lines and tiny nicks under magnification but is not chipped or cracked. There is a chip on the front of one bead that is noticeable if you are close or looking for it.

The silver has a fine layer of patina, which i have left unpolished but would be happy to polish upon request. The marcasite is not pitted or chipped and sits securely in the setting. The spring ring clasp is original to the piece, fully functional, and stamped sterling germany. The chain is not kinked or knotted.

I tested the glass beads. The necklace is 16" or choker length, and the beads dangle 1-3/4" down and measure 1/2 wide each. I try to show an accurate picture of the item in my photographs and the written description.
